Que celui qui n'a jamais commis de péché lui jette la première pierre...
Anyway, Happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone.
Special thoughts to Ariadna, Patrick, Cate, Ryan, Brian and sorry for those I'm forgetting.
This day should be dedicated to those who fell for Ireland and those who are fighting for the dear land. "For slavery fled, O glorious Dead, when you fell in the foggy dew". But anyway, each day, each second, we should bear them all in mind.

Poor Little Paddy |
Written by Paddy. (18/03-2003) |
When I read the shit that is written here I can only conclude that you lot (Not all of you) the ones that spread hatred, particularly against the British are a poor sombre bunch with a big complex on your shoulders. No wonder most people feel sorry for the Irish. I actually like Ireland and I enjoy the St Patrick festivities, however those idiots out there who were proabably bought up in some shithole without even a proper toilet, should keep their shit to themselves. Stupid Paddies |

This Special Day |
Written by Brian. (17/03-2003) |
To all the souls of mother Ireland... be they here or gone, living at home or abroad.... to all her children who have spread their wings and moved on to other lands... to all the strength, spirit, determination, faith and courage that it took our ancestors to get us where we are now... to all of you fellow Irish men and women who kiss the virtual ground that our ancestors trod for so many centuries... Remember where we come from, remember our ever-strengthening roots, with the direction you are taking your life, the life of your family and the lives of your people... consider what your ancestors would think... be strong, humble yourselves before their memory but honor their very existence by moving forward with the confidence of righteousness. Do justice to those you remember and honor. Honor the name your forefathers gave you. Let this be a newly strengthened commitment. Enjoy the pint, enjoy the laughter and the song. Live on for the days to come though. Instill those values of our ancestors... instill them directly into your children, as you will want they to do unto theirs. SOIRSE, to all you brothers and sisters. Hey Ryan, even though you skipped my name, Slainte! Brian |

Roamin in the Gloaming Lyrics for Adam - Lyrics Found |
Written by Buttinsky. (17/03-2003) |
Way back there, Adam requested lyrics to the song, and my first searches came up with zilch. Today, just out of curiosity, tried again and got them. So Adam, if you are still out there, here's a link to your lyrics: http://home.tiscali.nl/~4twin/Songs/roaming.html Now I'm gonna see what I can do for James (NY) with the "We Were Soldiers" song he's tracking down. |
