I like the unwitting irony of having a traditional English song on this website, particularly with all the anti-British clap-trap being said. |
Free Ireland |
Written by Freedom. (20/03-2003) |
FUCK YOU Less of the talking and more action. I can tell you what the fighting is about! I want to see the day that the Jacobite hoards in the south are driven into the sea by the real free Irish. You talk about free Ireland You all just suck the popes balls. You estranged fuckers. I want to see one day an Ireland joining with her brothers in UNION. I want to see the day the UNION JACK flies proudly over the whole of Ireland. We will never leave. You fucking leave, you are the traitors, to the crown, to our brothers and to the union. We the real free Irish of the North will one day free all of Ireland from its decease. Until then there will never be peace. Watch TV and you will see our brothers fighting and cleansing the world of dictators, terrorists and scum like you. Your Time Will Come God Save The Queen God Bless a SCUM Free Ireland God Bless Britannia |
simple questions |
Written by Patrick. (20/03-2003) |
I think Ignorance should be a crime. People thinking (and beleiving) that the British influence will remain in Ireland need to ask themselves a few questions. These are not difficult questions to answer. They are however, easy to side-step or sugar-coat. They are questions that should be up for debate One question at a time. For starters, What is the fighting in Ireland REALLY about? |

Noel I have become dissolutioned, as I see no way forward with ideals that have brought nothing for the last 800 years but death and distruction. It is easier to go out and fight and kill for a deed. What is there to gain but hatred, death and distruction. The brit - irish will always live in Ireland, there is no doubting that, any one who believes they will leave is dissolutioned. They are as much Irish as the Rep Irish by birth and location. For a united Ireland both communities will have to be one. Meaning both communities will have to accept each other as equals. Once this happens there will be a united ireland a ireland where there are no brit-irish and rep-irish but irish. I agree with you that our children will probably (hopefully) be more successful than our ancestors in resolving the problem. |

Patrick lad u have become disillusioned |

We are agravating the otherside.....and they are too. From the beginning the Irish cause was to push out the british..it wasn't a sectarian battle...it was a fite for freedom...there was some who knew they were british yet wanted a free Ireland like i was talkin to a wee girl the other day from england an she wanted us to have our freedom...there is plenty of ppl in britian who wish Ireland could be free. We were attacked by loyalists an unionists, the catholics wer wrongly assocaited with the IRA an wer kicked out of there homes, had their shops and pubs burned and there little sons and daughters (like our Bridgett) shot for no apparent reason.. Those opposed to the IRA, and believe it is a terriost group believe so because it has done things in the past which wer not very smart. The IRAs main aim is to get a united Ireland "You cannot conquer Ireland. You cannot extinguish the Irish Passion for freedom. If our deed has not been sufficient to win freedom, then our children will win it by a better deed" Padraig Pearse Our ancestors fought for it.....and so should we. Tiocfaidh ar lá Noel |

Sad and terrible that things like this happen. Yes I probably would be bitter and go back and look for revenge and try and kill the scumbag. However! What would it achieve? Some other Unionist scumbag will go out and attack another innocent person like youself. What would be the result? It goes on and on and on like a clockwork orange. |

Hope in these days when war is about to break out we will be able to be happy and celebrate Celtic's victory at Anfield Road. I'm sure the Bhoys will make it but on Thursday I think American and British Forces will start their attack, too. We are very dissapointed that war seems to be the only way to get things done for them. (...still sad because of Sunday and 1:2 against huns) |

I understand what you say how people can become fanatics. Like you I was fortunate enough not to be born into a broken society that hates each other. I did not have to put up being caalled a catholic bastard or a snake. I did not have to worry about crossing the road and being beat up because I of my religion or political priciples. I did not have to be escorted to school through another territory. I did not have to listen to people around me telling me all day that the otherside (Brit or Rep) are bad bastards.......... I did not have to look out of the window and see all the devastation caused by decades of violence. In a sense I was not poisoned by my surroundings. So it is hard for me to say how I would feel. However like you I can see the situation from another perspective. There are two sides to the coin. Brits (Irish) / Rep (Irish) who are provocating each other all the time, stirring up violence etc. The good thing is that the majority of Irish just whant to get on with life, as was shown by the voting for Good Friday in the whole of Ireland. As long as one side provacates causing the other to ratalliate there will never be real peace in Ireland. There is little or no chance that there will ever be a free Ireland either if both groups of people cannot unite as one people and decide together their future. I look forward to the day where Ireland has one common people with one common goal. Only in this way will Ireland ever be free to choose is destiny. Shame is I do not believe that I will see this in my lifetime, however our grand children may. |

I am so very sorry to hear about your assault. If you dont mind, How did it happen? Does this "Idiot" have a name? How long has it been? I am sorry if this is too personal, but it takes a real Scumbag to shoot a 14 year old girl in the face and an even bigger Scumbag Police force to allow it to happen. |
Fanaticism |
Written by Bridgett Kinloch. (18/03-2003) |
Yes, I agree about fanatics being a profuct of there environment. I was born in the falls area of Belfast, and lived there until I was fourteen. At that time in my life I was forced by my parents to move to the US due to the fact that I was shot in the face by a unionist idiot. He never went to trial and so it goes... Yes, I am bitter. Yes I am a fanatic. I should be returning home soon to take up the cause more fully. Slan,Bridgett |

What I did on the seventeeth of March was a first for me. I spent the day working at my job for SF, writing letters and catching up on a wee bit of personal reflection. The time will come comrades. Be vigilant!!! Ireland will be free! For once I spent the day sober. |

Of course, me too. Something I feel I should tell you. A word that nowadays as a very negative meaning : fanaticism. Something I am sure of is that no one is born being a fanatic. We're brought up as fanatics. Not by our parents, but by what we can see around us. I'm not a fanatic myself. Do you know why? Because I was born in Paris. But let's just imagine that I was born somewhere in Belfast or Derry. Don't you think I would be throwing stones at soldiers? that I would be insulting them each day? That I would hate them "normally"? If some people are fanatics, it's not because they are "stupid bigots" or whatever you call them. It's because THE BRITS BROUGHT THEM UP AS FANATICS. Treat a young man as a third class citizen, show him that he's not wanted in his own country, let the police beat him at times, and then tell me if you are surprised when this young man decide to join the IRA. Slan go foill Fanaticism, is it much more than being dedicated to one's cause? |

Happy St. Patricks Day to one and all. I send out great thanks to "California Dreaming" For the help with the lyrics I was searching for. May the Lord watch over all who endure the great struggle for a free and unite Eire. And may he hold the souls of those who haven given their all to that great cause, close to Him. And to those who would hold the Irish People down, I say "Pugh Ma Thon" (Pardon My poor spelling as my Gaelic is Far from Fluent) |
