A question again:
I'm not Irish so I have no idea and I wonder what is this guy C�nla that appears on the song 'C�nla'?

Hmmmmm...
I should really read the lyrics of the song before guessing what it is, but being a wee bit interested in Celtic mythology, I'm pretty sure that C�nla is another form of the name Coonla.
When it comes to Celtic mythology, everybody has a shit load of different names. Probably stems from different Gaeilic dialects and that kinda thing. For example, C�chulainn is also named as C� Chulainn, C� Chulaind, just different variations, so that people in a few thousand years time would be well confused.
So I'm guessing C�nla is Coonla, son of the High King of Ireland, Con of the Hundred Battles. I'm not sure what stories are connected with Coonla, or if he appears in any. I don't think he's a major character, but I'm not sure. I could look it up if you want.
Actually, now that I've looked up a book I've got it also mentions Coonla as the son of C�chulainn...

again sorry for lame question- could anyone direct me into some decent internet resources for irish (or celtic in general) mythology/culture, maybe gaelic dictionaries and such?
