John Lennon and Paul McCartney where both born in Liverpool, England therefore I am somewhat confused as to the reason that they wrote the songs Bloody Sunday and Give Ireland Back to the Irish. Apart from the fact that the British were commiting -well that is what it would be classed as if it occured in any other nation- war crimes. These men must have some other motivation behind these songs other than highlighting the wrongdoings of their own country. I would be grateful to anyone who can shed some light on this matter. My own conclusion is that growing up in Liverpool with such surnames they must be second generation Irish men, does anyone know if this is the case.

I think they were Irish indeed.
But no need to be Irish to see the crimes of the Brits in Ireland (As proven by all the non-Irish who are on this website) |

fair dues to them then. it takes balls for somone from England to put themself in the spot light with a song like that. I see you have the Ballad of Mairead Farrell as your favourite song, the anniversary of her murder is round this time. where is this website based America?

I'll post only once in responce to the rant of this person.
Please feel free report us to the FBI, if you e-mail me I'll give you my name and address. I don't think it's clever or brave of you to anonymously make offensive postings here and can only assume you are very young or very stupid to do this. As an American, to complain of atrocities commited by the governments of other countries, then you also display an ignorance of current world events. I'm sure the people of Iraq would be happy to ...errr , discuss your country's foreign policy. With such a lack of general knowledge then maybe you should use this forum correctly and then you might learn something. If you want to debate then you are welcome, if you want to offend then I would suggest everyone else ignores you, then you'll soon get bored. Don't forget to email me. Daithi |

Well you must have got a few laughs when you and a few silly wee friends type a few funny messages. Think of all that street cred, you must be overjoyed. Do you think you will still be posting on here in two weeks?
"I'm reporting this website to the FBI." psml when i heard this, do you think the FBI have the time to talk to you and even if they did what are they going to do? Arrest people for standing up for what they beleive in? |

IRABastards
seems like you don't know where you are and who I am. First we are on a Republican forum : there are only civilised people in here, u're mixing with the wrong crowd. Secondly I am a moderator of this forum. It means if u do not lower your tone (yet you're still allowed to have an opinion, as long as you express it with respect) I'll apply to you the exact same treatment as I applied to Lancashire : each of your post will be deleted until you learn good manners and I'll raise your warning level to 25% as a warning. Now, lower the voice or fuck off you racist wanker. |
