There's no best song of all times. There's just one song to suit one time
Right now mine is Thief of your heart sung by Sinead O'Connor |

Mia - Gorky (Belgian-Flemish)
With or without you - U2 Smells like een spirit - Nirvana Self esteem - Off Spring ... A list who's definitely too long and I'd still forget masses of good songs... |

Well, for me there's no best song, too.
Amhrn na bhFiann is somewhat "out of it". It's special... ;) The rest of my favourites changes. Right now they are: Tri Martolod (the version of Alan Stivell with Tri Yann) Chanson a boire Gortoz a ran Gleanntain Ghlas Ghaoth Dobhair Young Ned of the hill The Praties Son ar sistr (does anyone have a recording of it, btw? Charlotte? ;)) Tir an airm ...but as I said, it changes... Kenavo, Roidsear |

As regards Bretagne, Alan Stivell is the best

Gallout a ran kompren, met sot on Stivell. Brav eo. I can understand that, I love Stivell. He's good. ;) Oh Breton nation, you'll amaze those who would bury you, There's no world without you, Lalalalaleno... ...And I can't get "Tri Martolod" out of my head... Whereas... I'm just listening to "Brian Boru" by Stivell. This song is really great. Gaeilge and Brezhoneg in one song... Celts unite... Kenavo a c'henta, sln go fill, bye for now... |
