Nope, more like America's British.
Check on the origin of America's founding Fathers- British Blood.
Most of their ideas of Government derived from Thomas Paine- British.
Judicial system- firmly based on the British system.

There is some truth in your statement. But as I have said, there is a common thread that links ourselves and the USA. We don't always agree with them. We didn't send troops to Vietnam for instance.
You will find that there is a divergance of opinion on our government's policy on Iraq- but it's very unlikely that we will punish the government at the next election- unlike the Spanish.
