Dia dhuit !!!
and you guess right, I'm new to this board
A few day's ago Roidsear visited our Board and i was nosy of his signature with "www.celtic-lyrics.com". I was really surprised about the content of this board, because i expected things from Yeats, Shaw, Beckett, Heaney etc.. don't misunderstand it, i'm positively surprised
To my person, I'm 38 years old and come from Germany, so please excuse my bad English. I spend several times in Ireland, i like the people, the country and the music. Every time i set a feet on this Isle, it was a feeling like "coming home".
My political opinion to the political Situation in Northern Ireland brings me close to a Terrorist, in the eyes of the BA, but who cares. I cannot accept the British way of politic. "dividere et impere" or i don't know it really in english "divide and dominate" (?), a way they walk in Ireland, Scotland, India, Palestine etc. and cause so much pain, still in our time.
I think that's enough for my first post here

Failte Dreamweaver.
With the exception of Lancashire the folks on here tend to want what you want for Ireland. We have some fun debating and sometimes disagreeing but generally we are a friendly bunch.
(I reckon Patrick, Fianna and myself would enjoy the craic over a few jars without killing each other, yes REALLY !)
Don't let that guy put you off, you are welcome here and anything you want to contribute will be read and respected if not always agreed with.
All the best

Welcome DreamWeaver.
Don't mind the schyzophrenian kid Patrick mentionned. We sometimes have some of those, but they only get ridiculous.
