We have as of today switched from our own news system to the news module in the forum software.

This will make it easier for us to add news. The users will be able to add comments to the news items.

We have removed the ads as they didn't pay more than $0.50 per month. A new system will be launched later (allowing local band to sell CD's thru this site). Send an email if you're in a band that want to participate.

To use the forums you will now have to be a registered user.

But is that restricted to Irish traditional bands?

By the way, if anybody wants to start up a trad band or, even better, a Republican band, gimme a shout if you need a guitarist. I'm deadly serious...always wanted to play in a rebel band! So if your around Dublin and interested, I'm up for it.

You never know, this site could have it's very own band!

A site band wouild be cool alright, Patrick. boards.ie have their own board band, but that's a rock band.

And they're shit.

But I dunno how many people are from Dublin on this forum, cause I ain't travellin 50 miles to play in a Republican band!
