You are in a dark cave. You journey to the end of the cave. At the end of the cave are two doors. One door leads to your death. One door leads you safely out of the cave. Outside each door stands a guard. One guard can never lie. The other guard can never speak the truth. You can only ask ONE guard ONE question. What is that question and How do you safely exit the cave?

QUOTE
nope, guess again.

As I said I knew the answer already so I wouldnt have given that one! Yet I think my alternative answer is still right when you think about it.

OK, another riddle.

Romeo and Juliette are found dead in a room with some water spilled and broken glass. What happened to them?

The broken glass being the vile that held the poison? The spilled water being the chaser?

I give another clue.
The window is open and the door is closed

OK, How about.... Romeo is having an affair. One night after leaving his new lover, he tries to sneak in using the window instead of the door. Juliet thinks someone is trying to break in and breaks a flower vase over his head(the vase had water in it) When she sees that it is Romeo, she feels so bad that she takes her own life?

Not at all.
Yet there is one idea which though it is not exactly right (about the broken glass and water) might in the end lead you to the solution.

Since Juliet is spelled differently perhaps it's not the same Romeo and Juliet we've been thinking of. The only thing I can think of is.... 1) Romeo and Juliette are two fishes. The aquarium was set up beside the window and either the wind knocked it over, or someone tried to climb in and knocked it over and the aquarium broke (Shattering the glass), thus emptying the aquarium of all it's water, and so the fish died, or ... 2) Romeo and Juliette are plants placed in water, and so the wind knocks the vase over, shattering the vase and spilling the water, since the plants couldn't get the water they needed, they died.

Bravo, WeeIrishDevil
Yes Romeo and Juliette are two goldfish. The wind blew the window opened and closed the door. The window knocked the aquarium and Romeo and Juliette didnt survive very long out of the water.

However my mispelling of Juliette was totally unvoluntary. Juliet is spelt Juliette in French, that's where my mistake came from.

Ok, another one. But if you get the answer, u'll scare me off. That one was used as a test and people who found the answer were all psychopaths.

A young woman dies. At her burial, comes the family, including her two sisters A and B. There is also a couple of friends, and a mysterious young man.
A few weeks after the burial A murders B.
Why?

I think we ALL may be a wee 'nuts' sometimes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Some of us a wee bit more than others (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Besides, I meant that in an affectionate way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) They dont make a smiley face with its foot stuck in its mouth so I will just zipp it.
