Was this thread a decoy to draw our attention here so you could get a couple of bottles of whiskey from the counter?

lmao .... was an accident luv :) I could edit this thread, but I couldn't delete it :) and since it was a stupid question, I decided that I would just ... erm ... remove the question :) In other words, I answered my own question and then decided I was skundered and thought if others seen the stupidity within the question, then it would be even worse. I know I'm sounding quite the eejit at the moment, but believe me, it's far better to sound an eejit and :) then to sound completely ignorant and without a brain :) and also smile lol sorry :wacko:

Well, the latest poetry that I have written was not political in nature. Most of my poetry as of late as been rather, erm, dark. Never the less, I will post the last poem I wrote in here for you to read, but I'm not sure you'll enjoy it :mellow:

Falling Walls

The greyish stone mass that was erected,
Looked stronger than any fortress ever seen;
Now a blanket covers it, painted all in green,
One would say that it has been neglected.

The stones began to crumble into powdery ash,
Bound together only by the tight woven moss;
Requiescat in pace engraved in stone for its loss,
And now is nothing more than a mere storm sash.

The storms are infrequent, but are violent still,
Protection is needed, so I stand within the walls
Meandering through the forts colossal halls,
Hoping that its not me the storm is going to kill.

The wind and the rain have battered the stones,
I see these wide apertures beginning to form
As they cannot hold up to the puissant storm,
I feel the chill pierce straight through my bones.

Fervently I sought a thing to bar the iniquitous flood,
But the Gods deemed me fit for a daunting task;
My eyes cannot face this evil adorned with a mask,
So I slash my wrists, hoping to drain all my blood.

Heather, I am not sure if you know this or not but Noel and Ryan (and Charlotte) are from the original forum before Bjorn changed it to this new one. They go back a long time. ;) Back before 'LAN' stopped in for abuse :lol:

Yeap.
Ages ago that was! I didn't even remember there had once been just a guestbook and not a forum until you mentionned it again, Patrick... Time to think of those who left since... Brendan, Elish and Francesco... sweet memories...

I didn't know that Patrick. I wasn't a part of the past so to speak, but I do hope that we're all making as fond of memories as there was at that time :wub: :) I just know how good it feels to be in contact with those that you haven't seen in ages. To me is good news for everyone that some of the 'oul 'gang are back and are participating in the forum. Just needed a wee bit of good to go with the shite life throws at us sometimes ;)

just a wee bit south of Chicago again. Tis the same place as before, least for now. The only difference is, I'm staying with somebody else here and am in a different house than a was. I'm about as close to you as possible without actually being there lol I'm sad ... a had to actually google where Milwaukee was and still spelled it wrong ffs lol I'm learning though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Anyhoo .. perhaps this time a could actually meet some of the people a talk to at times here before a go back. I've also got updated piccy's this time. Well, hope things are going well for you, but now ave gotta go ... take care Patrick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
