Hi ...
I was searching Shebeen and in my winamp folder was a tune Dan Ar Braz - Left in Peace, Bit of a cheesy song but i quite liked it.. Doesn't sound like a rebel song but i wasn't sure as the words are hard to understand. What is it anyone know?. Sound a bit like the Corrs. |

Well, I don't know this song in particular, but Dan Ar Braz is a guitarist from Breizh (Brittany), and has also some songs in Brezhoneg (Breton language).
here's the official site: http://dab.maxximum.org/ and a great fan site: http://www.danarbraz.com/ The song "Left in Peace" is from the "Hritage des Celtes" CD, where he performs with Karen Matheson from Capercaillie and others. Well, I tried to find the lyrics on the web, but did not succeed... Dan Ar Braz also uses to play together with other artists like Alan Stivell, Bagad Kemper, etc... Perhaps Charlotte can say more about this song? ;) Well, as this post was regarding Breton music, I'll say goodbye in Brezhoneg... "Kenavo a c'henta!" (Bye until next time) :) |
