"super Wanderer war, super Wanderer war, super Wanderer Robin"...
as Alan Reid translated...

Ok, I'll have a look or ask Alan...

My favourite was "The King's Shilling"... and the set with "Trouble at Bagdadh Roundabout"...

Ok, sln go fill...

...btw. the (hand signed) lyrics book (Pat Kilbride even signed with his Gaelic name "Padraig Mac Giolla Brde", when he heard that I have Gaeilge/Gidhlig... *g*) is a great resource...

Our monarch's hindmost year but ane
Was five and twenty days begun,
Twas then a blast o' Janwar' Win,
Blew handsel in on Robin

Chorus

The Gossip keekit in his loof,
Quo' scho wha lives will see th' proof,
This waly boy will be nae coof,
I think we'll ca' him Robin.

Chorus

He'll hae misfortunes great and sma'
But ay a heart aboon them a'
He'll be a credit till us a'
We'll a be proud o' Robin.

Chorus

But as sure as three times three mak nine,
I see by ilka score and line,
This lad will dearly like our kin'
So leeze me on thee, Robin.

Chorus

Guid faith quo scho I doubt you Stir,
Ye'll gar the lasses lie aspar;
But twenty fauts ye may hae waur -
So blessins on thee, Robin.
