Patrick,
The Wolfetones are great, I see them when I can, and they've written some of our best tunes, Joe mcDonnell, Grace etc. but some of the newer bands like Eire Og have brought more passion to the songs and brought them to a younger audience. That keeps the young aware of our history and our heroes. Please listen to some of these bands if you get the chance. Shebeen are great, I saw them in Glasgow last month. Check out the Sinn Fein Bookshop for a good selection, and they ship to the US. I'd be curious to hear your opinion. Slan, Daithi |

Listen to Eire OG "This land is my land" then listen to the other bands singing it and you'll see a big difference and its the best Rebel song in my view. I like the Helicopter song too.

For me Eire Og are the best and my favourite song is "Bring them Home" and "Go On Home British Soldiers" it's quite good!

"Go On Home British Soldiers": it's my ring tone! Handy you know: nobody knows it, nobody has got it and it's got my "personal touch"...
