i have been reading throught this thread (which i found rather difficult thanks to the way the replys are now listed) i have picked up lot of songs from different site and i will be honest some are gary og. I have used http://www.brazen-head.co.uk/huddle/index.html to buy alot of the albums i got i have also be given alot from various people. One thing that people think of when buying these albums is the same as any band be it oasis, pink floyd or the irish brigade is money they can either buy it in a shop or a web site or download it for nothing in minutes and it is the same quailty or better as it can not get damaged like a cd if it is lyin around. It is true all music is effected my downloading and bands have found this out the hard way the way to make money is going back to your routs and getting on the road and play infront of the people dylan found this out hence the never ending tour.
For Gary g I noticed at the begining of the thread some-one say they have you singing Aiden MacAnespie have you released a copy of this song in Eire g/Partisan or solo and if where can it be bought? I have been searching the net for Partisan albums aswel but i have had no luck did you release a album and again where can it be bought? PS I am a bit drunk typing this i will poish it up if there are any mistakes 2moro. TAL |

Some say that dowloading music from stuff like Kazaa or others kills the music itself. My friends who play in rock band are against it and there is no wonder in it for me. They are interested not only in making music, but also in selling cds. still, it's a way of earning for a living for them, not only their hobby.
Is there any other classics im forgetting here?. they're the only one's that show up on Kazaa. Just wondering or any other bands like them, I have some Wolftones but they don't get you going as much as Eire og. Eh, it's like comparing let's say Rolling Stones and Fink Floyd (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif). They have no things in common except being a great musicians (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

What does it take to be an Irish rebel nowadays? An occasional step on the soapbox shouting "Ireland unfree will never be at peace" and hoping someone on the other side of the world will notice? Rebel, get real. Supporter perhaps at the most. Please reserve the word rebel for those who endangered their lives because they believed in an ideal and stop the deflation of the word! Vince I am angry with your statement because I feel the rebel's are still alive and willing n' just waiting to see what the palpitations can do (peacefully). We arent bad people and all want to end our troubles with as little blood split as possible. If this doesnt work, and i am sure I am not alone, I would do what ever it takes. [i]I am not the biggest republican in the world and can only imagine what it was like at the height of it all. I am only 21 and I work with and dont have any problems with protestant people, but I still know what matters! A UNITED IRELAND. ITS OUR COUNTRY, WER'E ALL THE SAME PEOPLE, WHY DIVIDE IT? |
