Dear Sirs,

In my collection of popular songs from all over the world I also have this beautiful Irish song The Rose OF Tralee. And I have its classical lyrics. But, recently, from the CD "Favourite Irish Drinking Songs" I've heared some different lyrics. In the first verse, it says:
If I ever go across the seа to Ireland
Well, maybe I could close me off my day
For to see again moon rise over ... (sorry, I don't understand the word)
or watch the sun go down on Galoway bay...

I'd like to know, who an when added those lyrics, and where I could find them completed.
Thank You very much!

Yours sincerely,
Neda Kovacevic,

"If you ever go across the sea to Ireland,
Then maybe at the closing of your day
You will sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh,
And watch the sun go down on Galway Bay."

These lyrics are from a song called "Galway Bay" which you'll find in the lyrics collection. Especially in live performances you'll often see the artists mixing and matching different songs, and that's what I think happened here. These lyrics are not from "Rose of Tralee"
