Wouldn't be too sure Patrick, your own land lost the British influence abt 250 years ago and you don't seem to be living in harmony yet.

what I mean is fate, you mean destination...
Hitler and Stalin believed, that it had to be like this because they could do it...

we can't write our own book of destiny, therefor the whole mankind has to work together... otherwise there would be something that wouldn't act like its planned
therefore we have to control nature, because a storm can wipe out whole landscapes with thousends of people living on it...
we would be gods if we could control or destiny...

hmmm, you may notice it, and you may think it is good, or you may think it is bad...
you may be wish something other or you are wishing that it's like this...

the north is the path of the warrior... the path of CuChulainn, and we can't change it because its destiny. The crow is flying in the Ulster skies

In the current situation that means that republicans respect what Unionist say and are willing to work with them to a better society that does not involve the terrible attrocities that happened in the past

thats wrong, it would mean that Protestants respect what catholics say, and catholics what protestants, but nut that republicans have to respect the words of Ian Paseley or other Unionists...
what we need is peace in NI, and good living conditions for everyone, that will never be under Unionist rule... and as long as britain is involved into the conflict, Unionists will rule...

I understand your view but you overstate your case by comparing the special branch to the SS.

the Special Branch is killing innocent catholic civilians, who are random chosen by them, the SS killed innocent jewish civilians...

the difference is, the SS put them into concentration camps, the Special Branch shoots them on the streets...

and if you wanna say "IRA is doing the same", you're wrong...
they're choosing drug dealers or "criminals" that are reported by witnesses or pretended "enemy forces" (loyalist paramilitarys).

I dont wanna say that it's right... but they aren't killing any civilians they met casually on the street

Tom, do you know the RUC's special Branch? they coming from UDF, UFF and what it's called, they are loyalist paramilitaries... and they're the same as the Nazi SS, and England accepts this department of the RUC/PSNI... they are still existing, even if England says, they're not existing!

the IRA may have done it, but I think that thus special branch did it, because loyalist politics want to avoid peace process...

QUOTE
The Irish security forces have told Mr Ahern that Sinn/Fein IRA were behind it.

not the Irish security forces told it, Hugh Orde, the head of RUC/PSNI has said "I believe the IRA did it" and this statement was not questioned by the news nor by the english or irish goverment.

its terrible that this statement wasn't questioned by anyone.

BTW- the orange order contains loads of vermin- but they are sectarian, not racist.

Kukux Clan is sectarian, too
but would you say he isn't racist?

QUOTE
Not just loyalist politicians believe that Sinn Fein/IRA did the bank job.

but why do they think it?
they think it because Hugh Orde, the chief of the PSNI, said "I think the IRA did it, they're the only logic force that could do it"...

hey Tom, maybe you should remember that loyalist politicians say, that members of the IRA did it... but this must not be the truth... and in my opinion, this isn't the truth

those who are not ready to participate in a democratic peace process are thus loyalist politicians that are marching at those orange marches... they're dirty racists...

you shouldsee, CNN and BBC aren't telling you always the truth...

and they have been driven into Paisleys arms, because catholics say "we wanna have civil rights, too", and that meant to them, protestants have less rights, because they should have the same like catholics... remember bloody sunday...

what would you say, if the kukux clan is marching through harlem? nearly the same is happening every year in the six counties...

hmm, found it, the song has the name Ailein Duinn

Lyrics:

Gura mise tha fo eislean,
Moch 's a' mhadainn is mi 'g eirigh,
 h shibhlainn leat,
H ri bh h ro bh,
H ri bh h rionn o ho,
Ailein duinn, h shibhlainn leat.

Ma 's e cluasag dhut a' ghainneamh,
Ma 's e leabaidh dhut an fheamainn,
 h shibhlainn leat,
H ri bh h ro bh,
H ri bh h rionn o ho,
Ailein duinn, h shibhlainn leat.

Ma 's e 'n t-iasg do choinnlean geala,
Ma 's e na rin do luchd-faire,
 h shibhlainn leat,
H ri bh h ro bh,
H ri bh h rionn o ho,
Ailein duinn, h shibhlainn leat.

Dh'lainn deoch ge boil le cch e,
De dh'fhuil do choim 's tu 'n deidh do bhathadh,
 h shibhlainn leat,
H ri bh h ro bh,
H ri bh h rionn o ho,
Ailein duinn, h shibhlainn leat.

translation:
1)How sorrowful I am
When I rise early in the morning,
h I would walk with you.
H ri bh.... o h,
Brown-haired Alan, h, I would walk with you

2)If the sand be your pillow,
If the seaweed be your bed,
h I would walk with you
H ri bh.... o h,
Brown-haired Alan, h, I would walk with you

3)If the fish are your candles bright,
If the seals are your watchmen,
h I would walk with you
H ri bh.... o h,
Brown-haired Alan, h, I would walk with you

4)I would take a drink, though everyone would be scandalised,
Of your heart's blood after you were drowned.
h I would walk with you
H ri bh.... o h,
Brown-haired Alan, h, I would walk with you

if you want to try some "modern traditional" folk (irish and scottish) than you should try "Flogging Molly", "Dropkick Murphys", "The Real McKenzies", "Young Dubliners" or "Runrig"
