I was wondering which of the two is correct: Athenry or Athenrye?
And also: Loughgall or Loughall?

I hope it's ok to post these questions here as they are not exactly lyrics questions... but it's pretty close smile.gif

Im not too sure on this one but as far as i know Loughgall seems to be the correct spelling of the town in armagh but it is possible two correct spellings exist. For example i live in Dun Laoghaire in the republic but it can also be spelled dun laoire! one is the original irish version and the second one is the anglified version, both are correct but the irish version is the more recognise! it is possible that it is a similar situation in Loughgall/Loughall!
sorry couldnt be more help
