Don't think so- If you mean Powell it is surely more likely to be a case of jumping before he was pushed to allow condy to get a bigger job.

Could make the election in four year's time interesting. Billary standing for the democrats with the republican challenge inluding Condy as Veep?

I use to respect Powell until now. I think he was offered a pretty sweet deal as long as he supported Bush untill re-election before resigning. Besides, do you really think he would allow himself to be 'pushed'?
